Mid-term evaluation of the program “Promoting economic growth based on strengthening the local economic fabric, with a focus on small producers in Ecuador”. The program was implemented by CODESPA Foundation with the support of the Ecuadorian government’s National Corporation of Popular and Solidarity Finance (CONAFIPS) and financed by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). The objective of the intervention was to contribute to inclusive economic growth, strengthen the local economic fabric and change Ecuador’s productive matrix by working with associative enterprises of small producers, integrated in value chains such as cacao, alpaca, fishing, agricultural products, etc. Work was carried out in the provinces of Chimborazo, Cotopaxi, Esmeraldas and Sucumbíos.
