The objective of the consultancy was to work with the firm Veerhouse Voda Haiti to formulate an Innovative Business Plan (IBP) to compete for resources from Compete Caribbean for the development of a project called “Production of innovative eco-friendly building materials in Haiti”, which consists of establishing a factory in Haiti to manufacture expanded polystyrene houses, which have thermal, maintenance and seismic response advantages. The project was approved by the Compete Caribbean Evaluation Panel in May 2014.
