The objective of the consultancy was to carry out the Intermediate Evaluation of the project called “Patagonic Archipelagos, International Destination for Scientific Tourism” (ATN / ME-13635-CH). The project was carried out by the Universidad Austral de Chile, through its Center for Research in Ecosystems of Patagonia (CIEP) and is partially funded by resources provided by the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB / MIF).
The purpose of the project is “to contribute to the competitive strengthening of the value chains of the tourist sector in the Region of Aysén”. The expected result (Purpose) is “to convert the Patagonian archipelago into an international class tourism destination”.
