The purpose of the consultancy was to carry out the Final Evaluation of the project “Management of non-timber resources in the Amazon forest: a strategy for adaptation and mitigation of climate change from the Bolivian and Peruvian experience”. The general objective of this project was to contribute to the implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions of the forest sector in Bolivia and Peru through integrated and sustainable management models of the Amazon Forest; and as a specific objective to promote the management of non-timber forest resources as a strategy that consolidates the integrated and sustainable management of the Amazon Forest favoring the mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
