The objective of the consultancy was to support the identification of a portfolio of tourism infrastructure projects to be financed by the Government of Honduras through the Investment, Promotion and Tourism Development Fund (FITUR). This Fund seeks to mobilize private investment from domestic and international sources through a specialized financing vehicle that will help meet part of the financing needs to carry out the infrastructure works needed to stimulate the tourism sector.
