The objective of the consultancy was the creation of the Essequibo Tourism Cluster (which links tourism service providers and Amerindian communities in two areas of the Essequibo River) in Guyana, and the formulation of a Development Plan to access Compete Caribbean resources. For this purpose, it was necessary to organize meetings with the different actors, visit the communities and identify in a participatory manner the actions to be developed for the strengthening of the Cluster. The project was approved and received funding from Compete Caribbean.
